The app is easy to use; Just make sure to scan the barcode on the phone case so that it brings you to the app that’s in english and not the Chinese one.

   Ich hätte nicht gedacht, dass diese Hülle in Wirklichkeit auch so toll ist. Nun kann ich es bestätigen, sie ist wirklich toll! Man kann verschiedene Bilder personalisieren und sie mittels der App und NFC auf die Hülle projizieren. Die Bilder sehen wirklich toll aus und sind ein richtiger Blickfang. Ich kann diese Hülle nur empfehlen. Lieferung über SparkApe ging schnell. Alles bestens. Danke.

   I have never seen anything like this case. You can cast a photo to it and it’s still a thin case. No batteries in the case so not sure how it gets power. It provides some protection to the phone but definitely a convo piece.

   This case continues to blow me away. I just think it’s such a cool concept! Like other reviewers have said, black and white photos tend to look best, some photos with red accents are great too. I have an Oh Snap on my phone (I guess I have smaller than average hands) and that covers half of the screen but it doesn’t bother me one bit. I change the picture about every day, sometimes multiple times a day. The app installed and works flawlessly. Very simple and easy to understand. Highly recommend!

   I found my new party trick. Flip my phone and watch my friends jaw's drop when they see that my 'custom' phone case can change!I am still in shock of how fast and cool this works. You open the app, upload the picture, push it through and in 10 seconds you have a new picture on the case.The case itself has a shiny finish over the carbon fiber and feels very smooth. Covers all 4 sides completely and has raised edges for the camera.Absolutely love it!

   This case is over my expectation. The customizable and long lasting image display on the back of the case adds the personal touch. The slim design doesn’t reduce the protection of the phone, but still provides except shock proof and anti scratch. The material is so sturdy and durable. I like it.

   Already have a kickstand case for my iPhone 15 Pro Max, but when I saw this one, I was very curious about it. How often do I see anime cases that are basic TPU and charging $40+ each one? The thought of having any picture on an ink screen was curious to me, so I gave this a go. Simple to unpack, download the app that there's a QR code inside the box to grab the listing from the App Store, and then give access to your camera roll. You cna choose only specific pictures, or allow full access. Once you're in the app, grab a picture, tap each corner of the box to adjust the crop and scale, then preview it and choose either "Dither", "Black and red" or "Black and white"-- video shows options verbatim. I tried first with a picture of my cat, and it has a lot of brown hues to it. In the preview it came out different than the real image, and on case, a bit of detail lost. This is expected, as the listing DOES say works best with black and white images and provides examples of what NOT to expect, so after that, I just grabbed a cool image of Tomie by Junji Ito, and that one worked great! Know the limitations, but it's easy to grab an image, add text over it if you like and even grab some stickers from the app to make your own image on the back. As I mentioned earlier, I have seen cases built as well or cheaper than this have one image printed, sometimes not as great charge a bit less. Because this case feels nice, precise cutouts and you can have endless possibilities, I think it's an interesting and fun case to try and I would recommend it. Just please understand that black and white images work best, and if you grab a picture of someone and make it mono, it does give best results, but not a 1:1 of the image. For drawings, it's pretty darn good though!

   I have an iPhone 14 Pro, was hoping that this would fit. It does not. The camera bumps are not the same size even though the phones are. It looks like all the photos on the listing are taken with the Pro Max as it has the same lens layout as the Pro.
   
   Besides that I'm pretty impressed. Yes, the resolution is on the lower side, but if you have a photo with a lot of red it looks pretty good.
   The app is functional, but some weird choices in how you need to do things make it feel slow. Especially when going back to change photos.
   
   Updating the e-ink image takes 10-15 seconds. And it is e-ink, it's not backlit. Think Kindle from a few years ago, but with red.

   I tried this on multiple images and this definitely works the best when you have a picture with 3 different colors, black, white and red. Also helps if you try and remove the background of a person. The person or image will show up better. Works great with MOST logos I tried and any funny saying that's in black and white show up perfect! Overall case itself is very nice. Buttons are very clicky. Case is thick enough to help withstand drops but not to thick at all. Nice lip on the edges to keep the screen from touching your desk when laying face down.

   Wow. Seriously, how did they do this? I made a small mistake in my order, I’d ordered the case for a 14 pro max instead of an iPhone 14 Plus, but it’s okay, it still worked.
   The picture stays even when the case is off and it takes literally seconds to change it in the app! Unbelievable. I’m still shaking my head over how this technology works or even exists!

   This case is super cool. Even though it only displays black, white, and red it’s somehow able to kind of fake full color through some clever dithering. The app used to control the screen is surprisingly capable and the case itself is high quality and durable.
   
   I just wish the e-ink screen wasn’t a tiny window. If the whole back of the case was e-ink, this would be the coolest case ever.
