I have been looking for a small projector for awhile because I have a small bedroom and don't exactly NEED a TV in there. This is PERFECT for that. It uses my Roku stick, has WiFi (which works though I'm not sure I see myself using it) and can be hooked up to a phone with an easy USB or Qr code reader on the screen.

Like I said, I don't have a ton of space. I kind of planned on putting it on the bookshelf above my bed and projecting on my door. I might play with angles later to get it fully on there better, but I can say now it is clear and easy to see and use. It comes with an instruction book in multiple languages and a very simple Menu. The remote is satisfyingly clicky if that is something you care about (I love it).

Only downside might be the speaker. There is Bluetooth and a headphone jack, so you're not limited to the unit speaker, but I was sitting behind it while I worked and watched TV. The sound was not especially loud and I did that for a few hours while I worked. In that time, at maybe mid volume, the speaker blew out. It can no longer play stable sound.

Which, ok, that's not what it's for. It's a projector, not a speaker. So it doesn't RUIN the product, but it does raise concerns about the quality of the product, and it is obviously slightly less usable than it was when I opened it. An hour earlier I could use it as it was, now I need a Bluetooth audio device as well.

On the whole I love it. I just hope the rest of it lasts longer than the speaker.

To start off I was a little frustrated I could not get my phone to connect. Plugging in a DVD player or firestick was easy. Once I could get the mirroring to work it would play hulu and Netflix from my phone. Next will be taking it while camping to play movies outside.

Bought a number of projectors last Prime Day; this one is in the $50-60 category. Best feature is the auto-keystone.. but angling it properly is impossible because of the detents at the hinges. [so you'll be stacking books underneath it or some such kludge] No tripod mount. :/

Colors are washed out, focus varies at borders, sound is tinny and hollow, no onboard controls. The fan is fairly quiet, so that's good. But overall it's just not worth the asking price, even with coupons.
Might be appropriate for kids room, etc; small footprint, simple features, ceiling protection?

There's just better ones out there for even less. (An oversaturated market of bargains in projectors. For $80-100 there's ones that really blow this one away. Look for external power adapters, where the heat and weight are relocated.)

Pro’s:~Small form factor~Can rotate 180 degrees~Built in Android 11~HDMI port for external devices~Headphone jack~BluetoothCon’s:~Very slow~Some mainstream video apps did not work~Speakers are very weak~Needs to be in very dark room~Airplay choppy at best~Only 720P native resolutionI was in the market for a relatively small projector that I could use in my backyard. My one requirement, however, is I need to be able to project it on my Ramada ceiling because I do not have any wall space. This is why I chose to purchase the CineBeam Pro180 smart projector because it can be rotated to point up at the ceiling. The projector was relatively quick and easy to set up. Once you plug it into a power source and press the power button it turns on and within 45 seconds you land on the home screen. Before you can really use the projector with android, you must connect to a Wi-Fi source. This is when I noticed the lag for the first time because it was very difficult for me to put my Wi-Fi password in with the included remote. Once I was able to get my Wi-Fi connected, the home screen showed all of the options available. There are four tabs, Home, Apps, Video, Music, all displaying the relevant content. The projector comes with two App Store, the built-in default, and Google play store, which is buried in the menus. this was a pleasant surprise because the default App Store had very few options. Between the two App Store you have all your primary streaming services like Prime Video, Youtube and Youtube TV, Disney+, Netflix, etc. I was surprised that I had such difficulty using YouTube and YouTube TV considering the platform is based on android. After several attempts, I was not able to get either YouTube or YouTube TV to play anything. I kept getting error messages.I was able to log into Plex and watch my server movies as well as live TV that I have feeding from an antenna. Overall, the built-in android experience was not very good. I then tried to mirror my iPhone 15 Pro using the airplay settings, and I had very little success there as well. My phone was able to recognize the device, but when I tried to connect and play a video, I would only get the default airplay screen on the projector. The media would play on my phone, which I could see with the progress bar, I was not able to hear or see anything.Luckily, there is an HDMI port on the back of the projector so you can connect external devices such as fire TV, Apple TV, or Google TV. Unfortunately, I believe this is necessary to use this projector properly. I was really hoping to minimize the clutter and simply connect my new projector to a power source and use the provided android. The picture quality is pretty good, but maxes out at 720p native resolution. This means, if you stream anything on most mainstream contents, it will max out at that resolution. It does support up to 4K, but all that means is, it will play 4K content at a reduced image quality. As for the brightness, it did pretty well. When I used the device, it was in a darkened room, but with bleeding light from the windows. The screen easily stretched over 100 inches but no matter how much I played with the focus wheel on the top, I still had a hard time seeing the text. The pictures that I took are above my king size bed frame, so you can see the size. I will say that the auto image correction worked very well. I never needed to go into the options to adjust the picture angle. Finally, the sound is very low on this projector. I was only able to turn it up about 2/3 of the way before it started getting crackly where I couldn't understand what was being said. At 2/3 of the volume, you have to be sitting right next to the projector to hear it. This means that you will essentially need to plug in either headphones, a 3.5mm external speakers with its own volume, or connect it to a bluetooth speaker.Overall, I am a little disappointed with the projectors ability to use android natively without the need of connecting an external device. For a very entry-level projector for basic indoor or outdoor use, this projector will do just fine. With the need of external speakers and an external device, the simplicity of this projector goes away. The ability to rotate the projector 180° is a novelty, especially because you only really need 90° to get the main viewing angles. But still being able to project on the ceiling is pretty fun. I will need to experiment a little bit more with the projector to see if it's something that I can use part time in my yard but my initial impressions are a bit disappointing.

First off and FYI the focus control is on the very front of the main projector body by the lens. I was about to seriously rethink this projector because of the picture quality but I opened the manual and surprise it solved my problem :). Initially I thought the focus wheel was just a design element.
    Pros:
    1. Pretty small footprint
    2. Light weight
    3. MP4s auto loop which is what I wanted (Halloween display effects)
    4. Good picture quality after you set the focus correctly
    Cons:
    1. No onboard controls (except focus and on/off button), you need the included remote
    2. I was hoping to project 90 degrees with a USB flash drive as the source but you cannot do that w/o using a very small profile USB flash drive. Same with a straight HDMI cable.
    3. Onboard sound is meh, a Bluetooth connected speaker should help.
    4. Price point may be a little high

I used to be the manager at a RadioShack, so i like to think of myself as fairly tech-savvy. This this is not only annoying to operate, but there are features I struggle to use or that don't work very well/at all.

I was able to easily run the included HDMI cable into the projector, that worked fine. But I was not able to connect my Android phone in any regard. I realized quickly that the "Wireless Display" function would not work as a 'cast'-able standalone option to stream to and that it was only an option to display mirror. But even so, I could only get it to mirror my PC, albeit with a significant audio lag that was not present over the bluetooth connection when i had my laptop hardlined in.

Add to all of that that the included cable are too short to be practical. I have had a hard time trying to find a place that within 3 ft of both a power outlet and a media source that is not either too close to a wall to be usable, or too far from one. For 100 dollars, I shouldn't have to go buy new cables for a projector that was clearly intended to be in the center of a room.

We wanted a projector so that when we traveled in the RV, we could sit outside & watch movies on a projector screen mounted to the side.

This one doesn't disappoint. Because it has wifi/bluetooth connectivity & I can use our Firestick with it, I was already giving it good marks. The fact that it can rotate 180° adds more of those good marks. The video I posted is of a movie being shown on my living room ceiling. As you can see, the picture is pretty dang good.

The sound is coming directly from the projector. It's pretty good when you're indoors. Like while you're in bed. We use a soundbar with ours when we are outside.

Set-up is easy. The manual is very clear & concise.

Howdy! This is a relatively long review, so skip to the end for the TLDR version! The CineBeam Pro180 5g Wifi/Bluetooth projector is solid. Just so you know, I'll give you an honest review with all the good and bad stuff about this beginner projector. See picture for size comparison next to a JBL Flip 6.Let's start with the good stuff:1. **Affordable Price:** For current listing price as of 10/2023, it's not a bad deal at all. You pretty much get what you pay for, and it's a good option for kids who want to watch cartoons on a big screen.2. **HDMI Connection:** It works well, and I didn't have any major issues when I connected it to my desktop computer.3. **USB Phone Projection:** When I used a cable to connect my phone, it worked smoothly. But keep reading because I haven't talked about screen mirroring or casting yet.4. **Brightness:** This projector provides decent brightness. However, I've been using it in a basement with no windows, especially during the evening hours when there's minimal light pollution. To thoroughly test its performance on various surfaces and colors, I can say that having a proper projector screen makes a significant difference in terms of image quality. The projector works relatively well on a white sheet, against a plain white wall, and even against a dark, coffee-stained wood-type surface. However, it's important to note that there aren't many options for color corrections, so the quality of the projection can vary based on your surface choice.5. **Wireless Connectivity (Part 1):** Setting up wireless connection through Smart View on Android is surprisingly easy. However, there's a catch. You can't make display changes or adjustments while still connected wirelessly, which is both a pro and a con. Now, let's talk about the downsides:1. **Wireless Connectivity (Part 2):** When I tried streaming from my phone, I was asked to visit a QR code website to download an app called ElfCast. This raised some security concerns, and the app seemed useless. I couldn't figure out how to use it or connect to the projector through it. Hopefully, they'll improve it.2. **Wireless Connectivity (Part 3):** I know, talking about wireless connectivity again might be a lot, but it's important. When wirelessly connected, there's a noticeable drop in performance. The resolution, frame rate, and sync between the screen and audio all suffer.3. **Video Quality:** The projector claims to support 1080P, but I'm picky about resolutions, coming from a 4K gaming monitor background. Unfortunately, I couldn't get the projector to focus perfectly, and the image always looked a bit blurry.4. **Automatic Image Correction:** The product's title mentions automatic image correction, but it doesn't actually have this feature. It won't fix your images automatically.4. **Additional Notes:** Another con to consider is that the power cable for this product is only around 3 feet long. So, it's a good idea to have an extension cord handy to ensure you can place the projector where you want it. It's worth noting that the remote control doesn't come with batteries. When using the remote, in my experience about 70% of the time the signal registers with the device when you press a button. Keep this in mind when using the remote control for the projector.TLDR, the CineBeam Pro180 5g Wifi/Bluetooth projector is a decent budget option, suitable for casual use, especially for kids. It has some good aspects like HDMI and USB connectivity, but the wireless features need improvement. The video quality may not meet the expectations of those used to higher resolutions, and it doesn't have automatic image correction despite what the title suggests.

I'm impressed by this little thing. While testing to see how big I can stretch the picture and still keep it watchable, I managed to get it to the size of movie screen. It's pretty simple to operate and quite user-friendly. It even tries to correct when the picture is warped at an angle. There is a speaker but if you want to use this outside or for a group you'll want to use a speaker. The remote is really convenient but only has a range of a few feet. The whole projector is all plastic and the focus nob is a wonky but it all works great. No complaints from me.

For its price range and size, I was very impressed with this projector. It does feel a bit flimsy in its construction, but since I was going to mount it and leave it be, that won't be an issue. I like how many of the functions are controllable from the remote control. The image seems plenty bright for a budget projector, and honestly not too much dimmer than the older Epson we use at my office.

To be fair, I'm just working with this, but I'll give my initial impressions.
    1. Easy to set up
    2. Easy to connect to my existing WiFi network
    3. Connected a Roku stick and it worked wonderfully
    4. Paired it to my JBL Charge 5 with zero issues
    5. Picture is on a wall now (waiting on my hangable screen), but it is bright and sharp
    6. Power cords are VERY short and I had to improvise to get it plugged in in an area where I could use it.

This is listed at $99 which is way less than a decent TV. For me, the occasional use in an area where I want to put it (i.e. outside for events) makes this quite palatable from a money perspective. There are more in-depth reviews of this, but it fits the bill for me and I had it set up and running in five minutes. Three of those were spent getting my Roku signed in to my network since I hadn't used it in some time.

Will this replace a QLED/OLED TV? No, but I think if you have an event or two in mind and want the ability to move your viewing experience into a larger space, you can get a decent projector screen for cheap and the investment in this would make sense. Purchasing would definitely be cheaper than renting and I was impressed by the picture quality - even on a painted wall!

When my screen comes, I'll update this review with better pics, but this was from an initial setup.

I wanted to love this! After just having surgery, watching TV in a chair or propped up was just too uncomfortable. I wanted this to broadcast my netflix to the ceiling.

The interface is a bit clunky. I was able to get hdmi, and USB to work just fine and they looked pretty good! The auto keystone worked very well. Obviously this looks best on a bright white background. Our ceiling has a slight hint of yellow so the color really depends on your wall color. Still looked fine.

I was unable to get any bluetooth, or wifi projection to work at all. The bluetooth devices were never detected and the QR code for wifi did not work. The casting also did not work. “Screen mirroring” on iOS devices does not exist in the new ios. It has been changed to airplay. I was able to get youtube audio to come through but not video.

In the end the casting and wireless type connections did not matter. The HDMI from my computer is all that is needed.

The sound is thin but sufficient.

It was nice to relax in bed and watch a movie on the ceiling.

This was a massive upgrade from my very old legacy projector. For something this small, it sure does pack a lot of features. Not only can you use it as a standard projector using USB or HDMI, but you connect it to WiFi and stream from your favorite streaming channels.

The projector runs very quiet and the controls are very intuitive.

The image quality is very good. Not the brightest but good enough to enjoy a movie outdoors or indoors.

You can also download apps from their App Store so this little projector is really like a portable streaming device.

Overall, I’m very impressed by the small footprint, performance, and features of this projector and I highly recommend it.

In this age of large screen TVs, I couldn't understand the point of having a projector, but this unit changed my mind. It's small and self contained and can be used completely wirelessly (except, of course, for power). It doesn't need to be mounted via a bracket, it's light enough to utilize it's own stand, and it can be rotated from completely vertical to completely horizontal.

I use Android, so I was able to connect to it quite simply using the built-in Miracast functionality in my Samsung phone. In moments I was watching videos on my wall. A moment later, I was watching them on my ceiling. There's a focus ring on the top of the unit by the lens to adjust for distance.

There's also an HDMI port if you'd rather watch from a DVD player, FireTV stick, Chromecast, etc.

To test the auto-keystone feature I projected onto my wall at about a 45-degree angle. As soon as I turned on auto-keystone in settings it gave me a perfectly square picture. The one thing it can't do, of course, is vary the focus from top to bottom, so if you focus the center of the image, the top and bottom are blurry. But this was an extreme case. If you have a slight angle, the auto keystone adjustment works very well.

The unit has a built-in speaker, but unless you need to be quiet you'll want to connect to a Bluetooth speaker or soundbar. The volume is decent for one person, but at max volume it's still quieter than most people listen to TV, in my experience.

I tested this during a bright, sunny afternoon in my living room. I obviously wouldn't try projecting it onto a sunlit surface, but it was easily viewable on a shaded wall even with sun streaming in the windows. It's much nicer at night, though, when the image is bright and crisp.
